Paper for Postcards
I have been doing some serious investigations lately about what type of paper I want to use for my postcards. I have a thing about heavy paper, I just love it. If the paper is flimsy I don't enjoy it so much. I printed my postcard designs on a 140 lb acid free watercolor paper and it looks amazing. I do have to say that the colors are not as crisp and vibrant because the paper absorbs so much of the ink. I feel that with the amount of luster I fill each image with and the black outlined detail...........well a little softening up is not such a bad thing. I'm really happy with the way they printed out and they sure are sturdy!! You can't get much thicker that 140 lb paper. So anyway, just know that if you order my postcards, I can promise you they will not be flimsy!
