Mona Lisa Portrait
Over the weekend I completed this Portrait of "Mona Lisa". I tried to do an entire portrait without any daisies....... I can't believe I did it!! I feel confident I will be able to achieve a masculine illustration of boys and men now too(O: This original is available now in my Etsy Shop it's also available in a Print too!

Oh, that Mona!!! I must say I've never seen a zentangled version - but I think DaVinci would be thrilled to see your creativity, Rebecca! She's terrific!!! Hugs, Terri xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteRebecca,I want to wish you succes with your 'Custom portraits' the ones I have seen here are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI really must get to see the original one day... It's ridiculous, Paris is so close yet I've never really 'done' the City. Passed through it and visited on business and been up the Eifel Tower but that's it! Great interpretation Rebecca. Mona would certainly smile!!
ReplyDeleteRebecca;
ReplyDeleteWow! You are so good at these! You have captured her perfectly. It is hard not to doodle without daisies isn't it? LOL. How long did this take you? It's beautiful, really!

Just wonderful, Rebecca, and this is a first for me too--I've seen ALOT of Mona art, but never a zentangled one!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful portrait! DaVinci would be proud.
ReplyDeleteI never would have thought that there were masculine and feminine filling marks. Now I know.
ReplyDeleteOne just has to love Mona, you have done her justice in a new creative way.
ReplyDeleteYour Mona is simply stunning, Rebecca. Even without daisies, she's still undoubtably "totally you." Your work just grabs me and makes me want to see more...and more!
ReplyDeleteWow, Rebecca. Such patience and a steady hand to do something like this. She looks great! :)
