Art Doll Prints
Available Now!!!
Dolly-Pop Series of Art Dolls
This is Art Doll – Jessica, she stands about 6 inches tall. Jessica is the first doll of this new Dolly-Pop collection I have been working on. I knit her dress out of a combination acrylic & wool and then added some detailed piping around the bottom of her bloomers and waist. Her shoes are hand painted with a high gloss acrylic paint and then varnished. Jessica’s hands, feet and face are hand sculpted out of polymer clay. She was really fun to make; I may try to do my next one with an acrylic resin for the hair since the body is so soft. It might be nice to see a change of texture.
And the detail is amazing too!!
ReplyDeleteLove the paisley patterns ! =)
ReplyDeleteShe's awesome Rebecca! The combination of designs is excellent!
ReplyDeleteLove her face!! You've really got a knack for the contours there and what will draw the features out! Hey, I would love to hear more about that background too! Looks like you doodled a bit there too :D

Another wonderful spread, Rebecca! The paisley print, together with the daisies, mix nicely to make a stunning background. Your moleskine is being filled quickly! I'd love to be able to physically flip through it, and take in all the breathtaking images, in person ... one day! Happy Day of Creating, Sweetie!
ReplyDeleteRed and Black are a great combination, I love the doodles on her face but the ones on her shoulder are breath taking, They look like a fine tattoo artist was at work.
ReplyDeleteLove the R.E.D. lady. I like the way your doodles make her shoulder so sensual.
