Happy Valentines Day!!
Art Doll Prints
Available Now!!!
Dolly-Pop Series of Art Dolls
This is Art Doll – Jessica, she stands about 6 inches tall. Jessica is the first doll of this new Dolly-Pop collection I have been working on. I knit her dress out of a combination acrylic & wool and then added some detailed piping around the bottom of her bloomers and waist. Her shoes are hand painted with a high gloss acrylic paint and then varnished. Jessica’s hands, feet and face are hand sculpted out of polymer clay. She was really fun to make; I may try to do my next one with an acrylic resin for the hair since the body is so soft. It might be nice to see a change of texture.
I really, really like her and the border you created is fantastic! :) I added you to the list so others can find you to visit. :)
ReplyDeletePS I am doing the sketchbook project as well and I created a special blog today (see my sidebar) where you can join and make your own posts on your progress there. Please stop in and sign up. I will send you an invite to be an author to create your own posts. Looking forward to the journey! :)
Hugs to you!

ReplyDeleteRebecca - glad you found time to join us. I really like this - is she inspired by freda kahlo, the artist? How do you get your paislies to be so perfect? I love them! Gonna have to try some kind of paisley effect one of these days.
