I decided to make a collage of photos from all the pages of my sketchbook project 2011. I used a piece of ply wood 2 feet wide and 4 feet long, so it's quite a large piece. I created it as a conversation piece for my home as well as something to remember my sketchbook project 2011. Every image between the covers of my sketchbook are within this collage. Some of the images are of the two page spread and some are of each individual page so many images actually appear twice. This was a lot of fun and a very carefree project I worked on over the weekend. Have a happy Monday everyone!

I get this faceted mirrored image going in my mind when I look at this. Its almost like a quilt. I would love to hang it in my home or a client's home. Now, on another track, you could take a photo of it and turn it into a transfer....I'm just saying, it's good any way you look at it!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you wanting to remember the journal and see all the faces,I had to look and look, enlarge and look some more. I am always facinated by your work, and think how does she do that? At art shows I always like when peiple say, how do you do that.
